Now that you mention race though, one funny thing is Angola is getting lots of immigrants from China, due to the partnership between the two governments, which is related to Angola's petroleum wealth and the desire of the chinese to have a better life free from the cultural and social constraints of their batshit homeland, and for actually having room to breathe properly.

I also forgot to mention this beautiful place near Luanda which is the "island" of Mussulo (actually a headland). If you have monies you can have a nice vacation there. Also, Luanda is one of the most expensive cities in the world and you will have to be basically rich to get a decent housing, healthcare, etc, although you do earn a good living with the right kind of jobs.

What's positive? Angolans are easygoing (provided they're not going to rob you) and know how to party, if you're into that (even in the rich circle, don't expect to have a very intelligent and profound talk from younger people, or really most of them, obviously). The beach is nice. Women are easy if you're not fugly, a retard or assburger, and learn how to dance (which is also fun). You may find various job opportunities in the developing economy in various sectors, I'm sure, and then you'll be part of that somewhat retarded elite.

All this is for Luanda. I have no idea how life is in other parts of the country, at least a practical one. I heard people say Mozambique is much nicer, calm and culturally developed. I doubt that it has that less crime.
I have no idea about Cabo Verde. My great-grandfather lived there for a while, so I'll be looking into it actually...
